Staffing Roundup: New Entertainment Law Hires & Promotions

Handler_carole1 • Litigator Carole Handler (left) has joined Wildman Harrold as a partner in Los Angeles. Her work focuses primarily on copyright and new media, such as representing Marvel Comics in its efforts to reclaim the motion picture rights to "Spider-Man." She was a partner at Foley & Lardner.

• Manatt Phelps & Phillips has announced that Jordan Yospe is joining the firm as counsel in the advertising, marketing & media practice group. Yospe is a pioneer in brand integration deals, previously working as general counsel for Mark Burnett Prods where he put together integrated advertisement for "The Apprentice," among other shows. He also founded The Brand-Aide Entertainment Group.

  • Christa Zofcin has been named head of business affairs at United Artists. She was senior vp business affairs at Yari Film Group and has worked at Pariah and Media 8 Entertainment.
  • Eric Lerner has been added as a partner at Pryor Cashman in New York as the firm expands its entertainment, media and communications practice group. Lerner focuses primarily on film financing and production and has handled a variety of transactional entertainment matters.
