Venable Snags Mitchell Silberberg IP Partner

GeorgeBorkowski The Los Angeles office of Venable LLP has added George Borkowski as a partner. He spent the past two decades at Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp. 

At MSK, Borkowski was founder and chair of the firm's Intellectual Property and Technology Practice, and a member of the firm's governing board. He repped the recording industry in lawsuits against Napster and Grokster, and served as acting director of litigation for the RIAA in 2000-2001.
 
He will now serve as co-chair of Venable's IP lItigation group.
