Today in Courtney Love legal fracases...

By Eriq Gardner

Courtneylove Yesterday, we brought word of a new lawsuit against the James Brown estate, lamenting all the time and energy that gets spent in chasing the millions of dollars at stake when a celebrity entertainer dies.

Now today comes cries from Courtney Love that her share of Kurt Cobain's estate has been "looted" by unspecified parties. Love's lawyer, Rhonda Holmes, says the singer/actress will file a lawsuit in the next 30 days against "former assistants, former managers, CPAs, lawyers and a couple of banks."

Holmes promises a lawsuit that will allege fraud, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty and RICO violations, and attempt to recover about $30 million.

Love was recently sued for defaming a fashion designer on Twitter. Perhaps we were wrong: Maybe Courtney Love's lawyers are the hardest working in show business.
