The judge overseeing a $4 billion (yes, billion) class action lawsuit against Miley Cyrus for allegedly violating the civil rights of people of Asian Pacific Islander heritage has stepped off the case after using the word "Oriental" in a court hearing.

Cyrus is being sued over a photo that appeared on TMZ where she slants her eyes in a gesture that many Asian Americans believe is offensive. (That's her in the middle.) Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Robert L. Hess was hearing the case, according to On Point News, and said that the photo showed "Orientals and non-Orientals" and Cyrus's gesture "could be construed as mocking or disparaging of persons of Oriental ancestry."

The lead plaintiff filed an objection, saying the comment "reflects racial bias."

Judge Hess had previously let it be known he would likely dismiss the lawsuit, which now gets passed on to Judge Ronald Sohigian.

More and more people began to collect air jordan shoes.
